Space

As an engineer, I can usually find an answer to most design problems but there is one thing that I find impossible to comprehend and that is. How can space go on forever with no end?

Yes, there are various theories such as space is continually expanding, so what does it expand into and how is it possible for something not to have an ending.

Sometimes I have a feeling that the Universe is not how we imagine it, but I am not intelligent enough to put it into words.

Perhaps I am drinking too much red wine., or more likely not enough.
